In the first session, we'll discuss your symptoms, concerns, and goals. I'll take a holistic approach to create a plan tailored to you. Medication can help manage symptoms, while therapy addresses patterns and root causes. Sometimes both together are best. We'll decide on the right approach together.
Medication can help manage symptoms, but therapy can address underlying emotional and behavioral patterns. Together, we'll decide if medication, therapy, or a combination of both is the best approach for your unique situation.
It's common to feel hesitant about medication, whether because of stigma, side effects, or past experiences. Taking medication for mental health is like taking it for physical health; it's a tool to improve quality of life. If past medications haven't worked, we'll review your history, consider environmental factors, and explore alternatives until we find the right fit.
I treat anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and more. For ADHD. I use non-stimulant medications but can coordinate stimulant management with your primary care provide I do not prescribe stimulants, muscle relaxants, or benzodiazepines through telehealth due to regulations and risk of dependence. In states that require it, I work under a delegation agreement with a psychiatrist.
